The NCUHS Falcon Battalion held its 18th annual Dining-In and also celebrated the 100th anniversary of the foundation of ROTC with a cake cutting ceremony. As per tradition, the Corps enjoyed a feast of their families' favorite dishes. We thank the parents who gave their time to help make this social event a success. This saber, as pictured above, was carried by Colonel Wooster as a cadet officer at Norwich University, the home of ROTC.
On May 19th through the 21st the 8th graders from multiple sending schools arrived at North Country Union High School to get a sense of what a high school day is like. Along with this, they visited several Career Center classes and the JROTC program. A few cadets from each platoon talked about our mission as a battalion, showed them several rope knots, and played a game of Ultimate Ninja. The 8th graders were also told about the different groups in JROTC, like Raiders, Drill, and Marksmanship. After, the 8th graders went to sign up for their classes.
